How I know Reggie

Enjoy this story how I know Reggie and how we've met!

Hey everybody! Thanks for stopping by. So, you wanna know the story behind me and Reg? WELL, so far, we've met twice! And we've known each other for a year now. It started online. Sound whack? Well listen up because it isn't! hehe, I promise!! It all started online on his official website, made by AthletesDirect. I PROMISE, this is SO 110% true. Ask all the people back on his site, from Mango, the Ashleys, bbfan, Austina, all them! bbfan is the one who saw us meet the first time on big screen and bbfan, Pixy, Bryan, and Edna were there the second! So was my family and all their peeps, but anyway! I was surfing the web one day last winter, not this winter, and I came across this site that said it was his official site. Cool huh? YAH! So I checked it out. There was this message board with all these crazy Reggie fans like me. So I was reading some posts, and I was thinking, OMG, Reggie replies to these? Every reply by him had his autograph on there. So I was like, Hmmmm, but I posted anyway. And YAH! I got a reply from Reggie! I was all like, WOW!!!! So I posted again and again and again and again and again and probably drove him NUTS, but HEY! LOL, he replied to EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM. He always did, to everyone's. Reggie really knew a few of the people on there because they had been there for a while. He kinda knew me as Alyse, my real name, but everyone now calls me Ally or Ally Cat. I posted as Ally because I thought that was better to post as and it is my nickname anyway. Eventually, we really got to post a lot to each other and once he posted to me, "You're my Ally Cat!" So, that was like in March, so ever since then, I am known as Ally Cat. That's where that comes from! Reggie didn't get on as much for a while starting with the 2000 NBA Playoffs. But when he checked in, he was real happy to still see me there since some of the other regulars weren't on there as much. But I was still hanging in there. Now everyone that comes around the site knows who I am, and everyone that is currently on the site, including Reggie knows who I am. That's how we know each other!

NOW, how do we meet? This part is awesome! The start of the 2000-2001 season was rolling around. There was this 2nd Annual Pacers Fan Jam for free for us fans! So duh, I went with my mom and I brought a friend along! We were like, too late for the autographs from the Pacers, so I was really upset, but we were still having fun. We got really LOW seats for free! Parking was even free man! Awesome! So as they were comin' out, people were telling me to hold up my sign I was going to show Reggie if I could see him. I was like, "HE CAN'T SEE US!" My sign read, "Reggie it's Ally Cat!" But I held it up anyway and we were all screamin', even this one lady that didn't even know us was yelling for him. It was cool! He didn't see us though for the longest time, until, WAIT, there's life out there!!! He hears us. He looks, looks away, looks again and BAM! He read the sign eventually and YEAH!!!!! He knew me and it was sooo cool he saw me. But then, there he go laughin', smilin' and BOWING to me! LOLOLOLOLOL....it was so awesome. It made my day! BUT THEN, he was wavin' me to go on the court to meet him!! I didn't know that then, but that's what happened! No one ever gets slected like that from the crowd like that! Someone that works there told us that in the Homecourt shop! LIKE WOW!!! So we went down there and he came over and hugged me! And then we were talking for a while and we holdin' hands and he was like, "I never thought I'd be able to meet you!!!!!!" I was just standin' there smiling. (I said something though, I promise!) LOL...the biggest smile on my face! :) :) :) :) Then, he was tellin' me about my sign. And to make it darker next time so he can see it right away! Hehe, NEXT time. LOL...but anyway! He had to go. :( But he hugged me again and I hugged him, duh, but this time....out of the blue, he like, kissed me on the cheek!!!!! WHOA BUDDY, like, I never knew that would happen. I didn't kiss him back on his cheek because I never knew that would happen. I was like, about to die right there, on the court, die a happy kitty! hehe, but I hope you all know that Reggie cares about his fans and not just himself like half those people out there in the NBA, because Reggie was happy to see me too, not just me happy to see him. AND, he WANTED to meet me. You don't find that in most guys.

	Another meeting moment! I can't say much about this one, because well, I just can't OK? But I will tell you what happened. Me and some other members of Reggie's Gang were all going to the Home opener game to meet up and hand out some things, you get the idea. But we got to give our stuff to Reggie too before the game down by the locker rooms! Just leave it at that! But anyway, Reggie came out and changed his schedule to meet us, all of us. There we go on this fan kick again, he cares about his fans!!! So, as he was walkin' out, I kinda walked up to him first...LOL, surprise surpirse on me. hehe, I wasn't as hippy this time. Which is a good thing. But I went up to him and handed him his gift! Which was a Thank You for EVERYTHING card, a good luck cat, and a big bag of M&Ms! LOL, everyone needs chocolate to pump them up! :) He seemed to like it! Again, we were happy to see each other! Hehe, I'm just everywhere. We were up there in front everyone as cameras were goin' off and we were huggin' for the cameras! :) hehe, it was fun! Then he went to everyone else and I introduced my family to him and everyone else introduced themselves to him. He was real happy to see everyone. Which is totally awesome! So, we got this big group picture, which will be on here, as will a couple pictures of Reggie and me. More on pics later...NOW, after our group picture of REGGIE'S GANG!, he was about to leave with all his gifts and hugs! And I got his attention for a second (and then everyone went quiet..dead silent! hehe, it was funny) and I was like, "Reggie...Reggie!" He looked at me and I BOWED to him! Hehe, he bowed back! :) It was so awesome. So, we went on our little way to the nosebleed section...haha, at least I did. We enjoyed the game and met up afterwards! A lot of us went out to eat, (but not Reggie) but a few of us went on, like my dad kept my sister company on home. My sister had her son, which is my nephew, duh!, and they had a trip back to Bloomington to go on, so they had to go on. We were at Hard Rock Cafe until almost midnight! LOL, then we came home, I got online until like 2 AM. When I logged on (AIM name: ReggiesAllyCat31) everyone IMed me, like, "WHAT HAPPENED!!!" LOL, I made them wait until bbfan got back! :) But that was it! :) And that was on 11-04-2000 NOW, this other time, we didn't meet because they don't let you go past by the court unless you have tickets there and they don't let the players stop at the half. But, my mom and I went down by section 11 at halftime on 12-20-2000 against the Raptors and I got down kinda low to hold up my sign and yell. And yah, he saw me! Really, we just waved and smiled to each other. It was still cool though! That's all you really can do. So it's all fine by me! :) :) I love ya Reg!
